HISTORY
It all began many years ago, in 1963 when our founder, Eladio Martinez Marcos started transporting goods, fundamentally bulk transport all over Spain.
In 1986 the limited society of Martínez Marcos was founded with the idea of innovation and expansion because of the strong growth we had experienced in recent years with billings of over 1000 million of pesetas and with a fluid traffic throughout the European Union.
We currently employ more than 200 employees and a fleet that accounts for about 200 trucks. Today we work with all the latest technology, processes, quality certificates and security to always satisfy all the needs of our clients, so that we can and provide the best possible service. Martínez Marcos is committed to its clients and is always looking for better ways to serve them.
The journey begins for the company as its founder Eladio Martinez Marcos begins his career in the transport industry.
The company changes for fiscal purposes and is now a public limited company.
The headquarters of the company moves to its current location, a privileged spot next to the Burgos-Portugal national highway with 15.000 m² of extension.
We build our first washing station for silo trucks in Valladolid.
We become certified in ISO 9000.
Due to the need for expansion in order to better serve our clients and fleet, we open another location and washing station in Torrejon de Ardoz (Madrid).
The company acquires Transportes Jerez which is located in Arcos de la Frontera (Sevilla).
A third location is built along with a washing station located in L’Arboç de Penedes (Tarragona) and we also become certified in GMP+ (Good Manufacturing Practices Plus).
The company is evaluated based on the protocols and standards of SQAS (Safety and Quality Assesement Systems).
Another location is acquired in Picassent (Valencia) in order to improve the services for our clients.
The company invests in a new management and logistic system.
